Hacking Productivity one MIA at a Time

Day two of the Blog challenge is to identify one most-important-action for the next 14 days. MIAs are key to productivity hacking and it's best to have only 2 or 3 per day; ignore any other to-do list until those get done. But Natalie's going to make it easy and start us off with one.

Right now I my most important goal is to supplement my savings with income. That I make. On my own. So it's also a very necessary goal and my MIA has to help me achieve it. The short-term solution is to offer photography services, but I ultimately want to sell products online because it's more scalable, more automated and more location-irrelevant.

So I'm going to break the rules and choose 2 MIAs; one to help me with my short-term solution and one to help me with my long-term one.

#1. Get photography gigs: talk to at least 1 target every day in person

#2. Find a Niche: work on blog post everyday

If you had to pick an MIA what would it be? Do you guys have any other productivity secrets? Another one of my favorites is the pomodoro technique; 25 minutes of work followed by 5 minute breaks. I'm not sure why it works but I'm always more productive when I use it and there's an online timer that makes it super easy: http://tomato-timer.com/

Time to for me to get started.
