Edit Better Videos
I had the awesome opportunity to chat with Thalia this week who runs Sonic Eye Editing. She's a super-cool Aussie who specializes in editing GoPro footage, especially snowboarding. It may not be snowboarding season here, but in the southern hemisphere winter is just beginning and Thalia is a pro at editing all kinds sports even beyond the winter variety.
In my opinion there's two components to getting awesome footage. Choosing the right setting depends on a wide variety of factors including available light, type of activity, speed of activity, mounting options, desired effect and more which is why I just added a brand new GoPro Settings guide for you guys under the "Guides" tab in the menu.
Once you have the raw footage though you still aren't done. Getting awesome footage also really depends on the quality of the editing and that's where Thalia comes in.
