Protography 101; The Ultimate Guide to Filmmaking
Since picking up my brand new GoPro Hero 4 I've set off to learn everything I can about it, which I hope to pass on to you guys. I see these things as the ultimate travel companion because they are so small and relatively inexpensive but they produce amazing results. A lot of the focus on GoPros involves video, but you can't hang a video on your wall, so my real interest is in the photography applications.
There are a ton of GoPro tutorials out there and I'm going to tackle as many as I can. Today I just finished this monster of a book; GoPro Professional Guide to Filmmaking, straight from GoPro's creative professionals Bradford Schmidt and Brandon Thompson. One really cool feature is that they included QR codes on most of the pages, which you can scan with your phone to pull up example videos while reading.
I'd like to digest all of this information and create content that you guys can reproduce yourselves. If you want some inspiration, here is a video from their latest model.
